Zavial is a beach on the South Coast that is situated between Lagos and Sagres.
Considered one of the best Portuguese surf spots, when the waves are firing from 4 feet up.
Because it is facing a bit more to the West, compared to the other south coast beaches, it will get the the medium-big to big swells from West and North direction,
that turn over from Sagres better.
There are a few spots to surf and the right side of the beach is a short and intense barreling Point Break, making it the most well known of the South Coast.
Works best with low or mid tide, depending on conditions.
One foot to ten/twelve feet waves and North winds are offshore.
